Maine Mycological Association Foray Data: These masterlists are based on the work done by Mark Cheetham from 1986 to 2002 on a project initiated and overseen by Sam Ristich. MMA Masterlist, Sorted by Taxonomy MMA Masterlist, Sorted Alphabetically The list of species found in the State of Maine was compiled from lists, pamphlets, articles, etc. by Sam Ristich, Richard Homola, Howard Bigelow, Bob Pinette, John Minot, Ray Fatto, the Maine Mycological Association, the Boston Mycological Club, the North Eastern Mycological Foray and The Josselyn Botanical Society. Mr. Cheetham's work also included a vast amount of reference data such as common names and an index to selected field guides; these materials will be forthcoming on this site. The few new taxa added since 2002 are not yet on the list, but will be soon. |
